1. Peel and finely dice the onion. Place the pork mince, breadcrumbs, egg, onion and thyme in a bowl. Season with salt and pepper. Using your fingers, mix the ingredients thoroughly. 2. Divide the mixture into six parts, and form each one into a burger shape about 1cm thick. 3. Heat some oil or butter in a frying pan. Fry the burgers for about 15 minutes over a fairly high heat, turning occasionally. Check the burgers are cooked through and serve. These burgers are great for barbecues. You can obviously make more smaller burgers.
