Pork Burgers
Cooking Time: 25 minutes
Serves: makes 6 large burgers

Method
1. Peel and finely dice the onion. Place the pork mince, breadcrumbs, egg, onion and thyme in a bowl. Season with salt and pepper. Using your fingers, mix the ingredients thoroughly.

2. Divide the mixture into six parts, and form each one into a burger shape about 1cm thick.

3. Heat some oil or butter in a frying pan. Fry the burgers for about 15 minutes over a fairly high heat, turning occasionally. Check the burgers are cooked through and serve.


These burgers are great for barbecues.
You can obviously make more smaller burgers.

(or half teaspoon dried thyme)
